TIPS PAGE FOR USING GPT SITES:
1. Be sure to give accurate information when signing up and completing the free offers. Giving fake information could result in the termination of your account.
2. Use free email services like Yahoo or Gmail to create new email addresses. You will be spammed and you don't want it coming to your main address. Plus you need to change your email address frequently to complete offers. You'll need to confirm some offers by email every now and then as well.
3. You will get telemarketers calling you. This is the downside (I feel) to being a gpt site member. However, I usually just let the calls go to my message machine. I rarely answer the phone. But look this problem up online. Google it. You'll find alot of tips from members who have listed links to voicemail or other services that have eliminated this problem for them.
4. VERY IMPORTANT: Delete your cookies between each offer. Some offers may have a different url but be the same company. You'll also find a list of surveys by the exact same company. So remember to delete your cookies between each offer. I found that downloading and using a FREE program called CCleaner helped tremendously with this. You can find it at CCleaner.com. It clears out your history & cookies very quickly and you can go back to the site and do more offers. It's easy to use and downloads fast.
5. Referrals. You can make alot of money without doing offers by getting referrals to sign up under your referral link. Check out each gpt site's referral program and your referral link. Use it to refer others and when they complete offers you get a percentage. When they refer others and those second line referrals complete offers, you still get a percentage. I know some people who only do referring and make alot from each gpt site without doing any offers themselves. However, be careful where you post your referral link. Spamming isn't allowed and you can have your account terminated if you spam your link out on myspace, certain forums, etc.
6. Lastly, I wanted to mention this: I rarely do the free trial offers that require a credit card. I usually stick to the 100% free offers. I have done a few though and it all worked out fine for me. However, if you choose to do these free trial offers, make sure you save the link to the site you signed up at, write down the phone number and/or email address you need to call when canceling the free trial, and remember how many days the trial lasts..some last 30 days, some 7. Once the trial is close to ending (or when you feel like you wish to cancel) be sure to write down who you spoke with. And, VERY IMPORTANT, ask for a cancelation number. Keep this number on record. If, for any reason, you get charged again by error, you can call the number and have your cancelation number and who you spoke to handy. I have spoke with people online who have been charged even after canceling and they had not kept the link, phone number or a cancelation number. So, remember this. It's very important.
